The digging of Raila's grave is ongoing tonight in Bondo.

Digging of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's grave at his Bondo ancestral home has begun.

The former prime minister will be buried Sunday at his home in Bondo.

In a video seen by the Star, a tractor is seen digging the grave where the mortal remains of the former prime minister will be buried.

This comes after Siaya Senator and Raila's elder brother Oburu Odinga officially opened Raila's Bondo home for mourners, known as 'tero ywak pacho'—bringing the cry home.

Mourners are expected to conduct a night vigil at the Opoda home in honour of the former ODM party leader ahead of his burial on Sunday, October 19, 2025.
