Dorea Chege addresses circulating rumours on assaulting partner Dj Dibul

Kenyan Actress and Digital creator Dorea Chege has addressed the viral rumours that she has been assaulting her partner Dj Dibul.

Speaking to Radio 47, Dorea expressed her shock on the widespread rumour noting she also met it online as others did.

“As a journalist, do you think it's true? Do I look like somebody who can do such a thing?” she asked the Radio 47 presenters who had reached out to her.

The digital creator noted that she did not want to talk about the matter while saying that she was okay with the rumours being spread.

“If I talk, it is going to be bad so, I'm asking you to excuse me so that I can be quiet on this. If the public decides to say that I hit him then that is okay,” she said.

Dorea informed the presenters that she also heard about the rumours the same way everyone else did.

She added that she was left in shock, as she did not know when and where she had fought.

“It is not the first time that we are trending so we have also sat down and spoken about it,” the Kenyan actress noted.

She further added that the Cyber Crime Law should be passed to ensure online bullies are properly contained.

This she said while noting that not everyone is a fan of her and they tend to take advantage of the platform they have.

“If they hate me and want to destroy me, they will but I say that everything has its time and I leave it all to God. The truth will be known soon,” Dorea said.

Consequently, Dorea said that she expected those coming up with the allegations to reach out to her and confirm the truth about it.

She said, “I believe I have enemies out there and he has been trending for a long time especially on matters to do with women. Maybe the women who want him are the ones coming up with such allegations.”

According to her, if Dj Dibul was a victim, he would have come out and spoken about him being assaulted.

She told those spreading the rumours to come out clearly in case they wanted the DJ instead of coming up with false allegations.

“It's not easy dating a celebrity but by the end of the day, you have to be best friends, and trust each other. Communication is everything. I have been very strong because this year has really tested me,” she said.
