Defence Cabinet Secretary Soipan Tuya appointed Simon Mwachia to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Shipyards Limited, for three years, effective from May 23, 2025.

Agriculture CS Mutahi Kagwe also made four notable appointments to his docket. He appointed Kenneth Mburu, Joshua Koskei, Joyce Kioko, and Bernard Wakhungu to be Agricultural Finance Corporation board members for three years.

He also appointed Paul Kaguamba and Milton Luchiri to be members of the Board of Directors of the Pyrethrum Processing Company of Kenya for three years.

Meanwhile, Education CS Julius Ogamba appointed Edward Musebe to be a member of the Board of Trustees of the Commodities Fund for three years, effective immediately.
