Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu's husband is dead
Hafidh Ameir Hassan, Tanzanian Samia Suluhu's husband has died.
The announcement was made today by vice president Deogratius Ndjembi.
He said Hassan died today at 8 am while receiving treatment for heart problems.
“We are saddened to announce the death of Hafidh Ameir Hassan, the husband of President Samia Suluhu Hassan. H died today at 8 am in Zanzibar where he was receiving treatment for heart problems,” Ndejembi announced.
The vice president said funeral plans are ongoing in Zanzibar.
